
Product Development Technician
We are seeking a Product Development Technician to inspect our first article samples for adherence to quality standards, generate appropriate approval documents and documents required to get the project to production. The ideal candidate will have a positive, professional attitude, be willing to learn, contribute to our team and have the flexibility to adapt quickly during periods of rapid change. This position MUST work from our Fort Collins, CO location.
Tasks:
- Inspect parts and assemblies in accordance with the quality manual, 2D drawings, 3D CAD files as well as document and communicate the results with product development team.
- Notify supervisors and other personnel of production problems, and assist in identifying and correcting these problems.
- Record inspection data and observe quality trends.
- Develop product assembly documentation.
- Assembly sample product for other departments as needed.
- Interact closely with the project management team on schedules and inspections.
Technology:
- Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and other basic computing functions.
- Knowledge of 3D CAD software preferred with SolidWorks experience a plus.
- Knowledge of data management software preferred with PDMWorks experience a plus.

- Critical thinking and analytical skills to research & solve problems effectively and as quickly as possible sometimes with little direction from others.
- Demonstrated proof of effective time management skills.
- Ability to read and understand 2D Mechanical drawing is a must.
- Knowledge of plastic injection molding processes is desirable.
Travel:
- 5% Maximum
