   We do not have any plans, at this time, to make a case for the 5th Gen Nano.
2. Can I use my OtterBox for iPod when I scuba dive?
   Absolutely NOT! These cases are NOT adapted to withstand the pressures experienced by scuba diving.
3. Can I use the OtterBox for iPod with the Apple iTrip or other FM Transmitter?
   Unfortunately, the iTrip will not reach far enough into the case to allow access to the iPod. The case itself does not allow enough space for the FM Transmitter to fit inside the case.

5. Do your OtterBox cases have a UV protection rating?
   The clear boxes allow for no protection from UV rays. The solid color boxes provide nearly 100% protection from UV rays.

11. Is it safe to use my OtterBox for iPod in a sauna or hot tub?
    The temperature range for the OtterBox is -18 C – 93 C (0 F - 200 F) but please note that the OtterBox itself does not change the operating temperature range of the items contained within. You would need to find the safe temperature range for the iPod and stick to that.

    There is not a good recommended way of polishing the polycarbonate that the iPod case is made of. However, aren't you glad those scratches aren't on your iPod?
14. The instructions for my H2O Audio waterproof headphones refer to a "seal-tight connector". Do I need this to keep my OtterBox iPod Armor case waterproof?
    No, the seal-tight connector is not needed for the OtterBox iPod Armor cases. Our cases are waterproof without it, as they have something like a seal-tight connector built into the case.

16. What is a safe temperature rating for the OtterBox cases?
    The temperature range that is acceptable for the OtterBox is between -10 degrees to 175 degrees Fahrenheit. However, this is only for the box. This does not mean that the object you are protecting can withstand this range of temperatures.

    Both the over-mold material and the seal are very chemical and corrosion resistant.Life expectancy should be 4 – 5 years.General care should be taken to rinse salt water or chlorinated water off of the case with clean fresh water whenever possible to help extend that life.
19. What is the maximum arm size for which the armband can be used?
    We’ve found that the armbands can be used on any arm size that is 15 ” or smaller. If you have bigger guns than that, you may need to strap the armband around your forearm. If you are too big still, you are Hercules and we are jealous.
20. What is the minimum arm size for which the iPod armband can be used?
    The minimum arm size is 7 inches around.
