OtterBox for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) was established in Cork, Ireland in March 2010.
Based on Georges Quay in Cork City, the office has grown rapidly over the last number of months and now has a staff of 16. Over the next year it is hoped that OtterBox EMEA will create 50 new jobs to service the rapidly expanding client base throughout the EMEA region.
The activities currently being carried out at the Cork office include in-house sales, accounting, public relations and human resources. By the end of 2011 it is anticipated that the EMEA office will also manage supply chain and warehousing from Cork for that region.
The EMEA Office is headed up by Managing Director, Matt Clark, who is supported by an experienced sales team from the US, Ireland and Europe. “This has been a very exciting year for OtterBox with the opening of the new office in Cork, Ireland,” Clark said. “As the company expands, we are looking to firmly establish a presence in the EMEA market. We are in a better position now to keep up with the trends of this region and deliver exactly what our customers need.”
