iPod nano® (4th Generation)
The iPod nano 4th generation, released in September of 2008, is quite different from the iPod nano 3rd generation. This iPod is tall and slender, as opposed to the short, square look of the 3rd gen. This model still offers the user video capabilities, but it comes in 8 and 16GB capacities (the 3rd gen only came in 4 and 8GB capacities). The iPod nano 4th generation comes in white, black, purple, blue, green, yellow, orange, pink and (PRODUCT) red. We have ONE different case for the iPod nano 4th generation: The Armor Series, Defender Series, and Impact Series.
iPod nano® (3rd Generation)
The iPod nano 3rd Generation was released in 2007 and is quite different from the iPod Nano 2nd Generation. The 3rd Generation nano features a widescreen display with color, and has VIDEO capabilities. None of the older iPod nano models have video capabilities. The iPod nano 3rd Generation comes in teal, red, silver, green and black. You can also distinguish the iPod nano 3rd Generation by the last 3 digits of the serial number. If the last 3 digits are YOP, YOR, YXR, YXT, YXV or YXX, you have an iPod Nano 3rd Generation.

iPod touch® (2nd & 3rd Generations)
The iPod touch 2nd Generation was released in 2008. The only difference between the 1st and 2nd generation models is the DIMENSIONS. Both models feature a 3.5 inch (diagonal) widescreen multi-touch display and both come in 8GB, 16GB or 32GB capacities. With this iPod, you can browse the web with Safari and watch YouTube videos and movies. This iPod looks similar to the iPhone, but it WILL NOT fit into the iPhone cases. iPod touch 2nd & 3rd Generation Defender Series case
iPhone 3G and 3GS
The iPhone 3G was released in 2008 and the iPhone 3GS was released in 2009. Both have 3G technology, GPS navigation, and only come in black or white. The back of the iPhone 3G is a glossy plastic material, whereas the 1st Generation iPhone has a matte silver back. If your iPhone has GPS, you have yourself an iPhone 3G. If your iPhone has GPS AND video capabilities, you have an iPhone 3GS.
