The OtterBox for iPhone® Armor™ Series accommodates the 1st generation iPhone only (4GB, 8GB and 16GB)- offering dustproof, dirtproof, sandproof and drop-proof protection for your device. The touch screen is completely covered by a PATENTED thin membrane, yet it remains fully usable through the case. Two easy compound latches secure the OtterBox, while the external phone jack maintains the microphone and click button functionality of the Apple® headphones. It is also usable with any style headphone that has a standard mini stereo plug (1/8"). Please note: In order to use the phone functionality through the case, YOU MUST either use the Apple Stereo Headset included with your iPhone (or any other Bluetooth® headset), or use the speaker phone function. This case will not fit the new iPhone 3G.
