I myself have a 2nd generation that I bought from my brother''s friend n also gave me an otterbox with it to give it the cover and my goodness it is absolutely great, especially because I am a person who drops an ipod and I thank the otterbox company to make something this great, but what would make this most amazing is if it came in other colors like the ipod touch 4th gen cases April 4, 2012

Upset mom My 12 year old son worked all summer to save his money for an iPod touch and Otterbox case. He has had both for about 6 months and dropped the case protected iPod about 2 feet last night. It shattered the edge of the case and cracked his iPod in 3 places. I have an iPhone with an Otterbox that I'm seriously considering replacing. I will not buy another Otterbox ever again. fantastic case I bought a used case from a friend, I must say that this case is completely awesome. I have dropped my ipod touch by accident several times without the case and had to reset the unit. Since I have put the case on I have dropped it and it is totally protected! I have the utmost confidence in this product and will definately refer others to it. The only drawback is that since putting my Ipod Touch in the case I can no longer use my clock radio or docking station. I am currently searching for a male to female 30 pin cable but so far this item does not exist. Otterbox: here is a market for you. Again thank you for making a great product! December 29, 2011

Great case! Practically bullet-proof protection for your device. For you folks that complain about moisture intrusion... RTFM. Otterbox specifically notes that Defender cases are NOT waterproof. To SteveD... This case fits well in the iPhone 3/3GS belt-clip. However, there are restrictions: 1> device only fits securely with the screen "inward-facing" (case/device profile prevents securing into holster/clip with the screen "outward-facing") 2> device only fits securely in the "upright" position (earphone plug will still be on the bottom). Small tabs, that are not present on this case, are need to hold device in-place. These tabs are present on the iPhone cases. December 24, 2011
