iPhone 5/5S Defender Series Plastic Shell
The new iPhone 5s with its fingerprint sensor introduces a new challenge for the design. I noticed that the integrated screen guard has a cut-out for the fingerprint that also allows moisture to infiltrate the surface layer of the phone just under the screen guard. I'm seeing a world of rainbow colors on my display that requires me to open my case up (not a fun task) on a daily basis. A little more thought could go into the design of the screen guard. Possibly segregate this area with a moisture strip that is just north of the thumbprint area that covers left to right on the phone.

I had the Otterbox Defender for the iPhone 5 and was having an issue with the Home Key activating the phone. Sometimes it would take 2-3 presses to activate the phone using the rubber that connected to the Home Key on the phone. Also with the IOS 7 installed, I was having a little trouble getting to the Control Panel with the swipe up gesture because of the plastic on the Defender case preventing reaching down far enough at the bottom of the screen.
I switched to the Defender case for the iPhone 5/5S and all issues were resolved. Because the 5S has Touch ID, the home key is exposed for direct contact and the plastic is no longer there on each side of the Home key. Thanks for a great design change for the iPhone 5/5S.

Please Try It
It was so easy to attach to my phone. And right after I attached to my phone, I dropped it and I was so afraid I had broken my phone. My phone was intact and not a scratch. I will definitely purchase another one in a different color.
