Awesome! I have been waiting forever for this case to be released. I finally have one and I love it. Otter box has designed another durable case! If your looking for something not to make your phone too bulky this definitely isn't the case for you. The case is just a little bit bigger than the defender which has been on my phone every since I have purchased my iPhone 5. The phone seems as if it could withstand anything that might happen to the phone. I have tried a life proof box for my device which was awful! I am a firefighter/EMT and needed something to protect me from all the weather elements, and I'm glad to say I have found it! The phone fits nicely into the case and has a snug fit. With the life proof box I had a awful Mirror image of a pesky air bubble on my phone. You defiantly don't have that with this case. I was amazingly surprised with the sound quality of the armor series case, sounds just like it did in my defender case! In call volume was my main concern with this case because the life proof was awful with in in call volume. I'm happy to say I can hear just fine and the other party can hear me as we'll without any problems. If I had to pick one thing I don't like about the case it would be it has no belt clip. Just a lanyard you can attach to the case which I don't use. If a belt clip were to come out for this case I'd be a very happy owner!! Thanks again otter box for another great product. Well worth the money. March 16, 2013
Good concept - poor implementation After loving the OtterBox defender, I purchased the Armor for my new iPhone 5. The concept is great and the phone is easier to get in and out of the case the the defender, but the complements stop there. First a holster is not included nor is there even one made for this case. This being the premium model I assumed it would be included as it is with the Defender. I even check the packaging twice to see where it was. I was astonished that they don't even make a holster for it. The there are the quirks. It is very difficult to get into the charge ports, but that is to be expected on a water proof case. The only charger adapter that fits is the one that comes with the iphone and that is very snug. Car chargers and 3rd party cables with the small end are just a tiny bit too large to fit. The case causes sound issues. The caller on the other hand hears words and phrased abruptly cut off throughout the conversation. When talking via bluetooth this does not happen. The bluetooth sound is quieter, but I'm not sure if this is the new iphone or the case. I'm really disappointed. I expected much better quality from Otterbox. This was a bad purchase. I had to immediately purchase a defender so I could have a usable durable case. May 16, 2013
Great Product Complete Waterproof with all the bells and whistles. Only problem is that the back does scratch very easily, so you may want to watch putting it where it could get scratched. Overall Excellent Case! May 10, 2013
No sound into the microphone I live in Australia and bought my Armor case within a week of the product being out. It cost a small fortune but after breaking and 'drowning' a couple of phones it seemed worth it. Everyone I came into contact with noticed the case and I spoke highly of it. I have no problem with the size considering the protection I get. BUT.... people can't hear me when I talk on the phone. I don't know why but it is getting worse. I have cleaned the case; no change. I have experimented with the phone in the case and out of the case on the same call. Completely different outcome - people can hear me when its not in the case and can't when it is in. I have taken to pulling open the cover over the charging port so people can hear me. I am writing this review in the hope someone at Otterbox can give me a solution. I like the case and I don't want to get rid of it but I'm getting close to abandoning the case because everytime I answer the phone to people who know me - their immediate statement is for me to get rid of the case..... Can you help Otterbox??? May 10, 2013

Laynard/Wrist Strap?

Q:
The back of the Armor case appears to have a small hold for a Lanyard. Could you confirm and if so, then does the case come with a lanyard/wrist strap?

A:
It does come with a lanyard. The lanyard fits in a small hole on the bottom left rear of the case. This replaces the average holster.
