Overall a good purchase
Good protective case if you don't mind the added weight. The bulk it adds to the phone is a non-issue if you have a purse or satchel. I wish the back of the case had a clear membrane for the cut-outs (like the one on the front) to protect the Apple logo and the camera. For this reason, I only rated it 4 stars. It would be awesome if the cut out for the camera had a tempered glass clear cover! I love that the case has a built-in clear protective membrane for the front of the phone instead of the peel-and-stick kind which I absolutely hate. The plastic membrane does not interfere with the touch screen functionality and looks good, like it's not there. This clear membrane by Otterbox is way better than the clear membrane on LifeProof cases. I've seen so many YouTube reviews of the LifeProof clear membrane not sitting properly on the phone and creating an extremely ugly bubble effect. The ratcheting belt clip is very convenient and holds the case securely & works as a stand for the phone if you are watching videos. Music sound quality is very good coming out of the speakers and no one ever complains they can't hear me. If you are worried about the bulk, try it out at the store. Overall this was a good purchase.

Outer design poor
I liked the look but my silicone outer layer was stretched, the flap that goes over the charger breaks easily. I was very disappointed!

The realtree camo defender is a nice rugged case. I have dropped it on the brick floor and it didn't crack the screen.

great case one little problem
i love my camouflage defender series case its taken abuse and with the two ive broken from the abuse the warranty plan is amazing all you have to do is send pictures and you get the new one the first time my rubber ripped and the second time my case fell from a high distance and the plastic cracked i got a new rubber piece on the way and all i have to say is i love em and i want the new armor series

The camo back is like a thin rubber (or silicone?) overlay but integrated with the silicone casing. It is a seamless integration. The camo backing is not made of hard, rigid plastic so it is not slippery. I hope this helps!1 week, 4 days ago
