simplicity is beautiful I absolutely love this case. In fact, when I saw it online, I knew I had to get my hands on one. Unfortunately they only carry them in the States so I had to do a quick road trip down to hunt for one! I believe I bought the last one at Radioshack and it comes to no surprise that it was the last one. The case is really well made. Just by the feel of the smooth matte hard shell you can tell the quality of it is undeniable. The rubber does a good job of absorbing shock though I wish they made the hollow mini square designs for it like in the impact cases. I also love how all the ports are plugged in and the rubber fits seamlessly, though it can be a little meticulous, with the polycarbonate shell. To me one of the biggest selling points for this case other than the quality material is that it does not have the vanity window in the back for the Apple logo. It just keeps the look simple but very classy. I've gotten tons of compliments on the case! December 26, 2012
My Favorite Case! I own 3 Commuter cases for my iPhone 4. I love them all....but my Livestrong is my favorite. I love the simple, sleek design with no vanity window over the Apple logo. I'm an ER nurse, and i love the way the Commuters fit easily in my scrub pockets and the rubber portion keeps it from sliding out every time I squat/bend down during the course of my busy 12.5 hr shifts. My phone survived being thrown across a concrete drive with no damage whatsoever. Please, please make one for my iPhone 5!! September 28, 2012
Perfect Fit. Ignore negative review. It's perfect. Jut align the side slots. I was a bit hesitant to get this due to fit issues mentioned in one negative review. I like the fit to be air tight. I do not like Apple logo cut outs in most Otterbox cases, and I do not like other graphics they offer. Website indicated my local RadioShack has this, so, I gave it a try. At first, I couldn't get the two pieces to fit properly either, despite following the instructions. Upon closer inspection, it was precisely because it was very well designed. The plastic shell don't just clamp on the rubber shell. There are two alignment slots on both sides of the phone for them to fit perfectly. Flex and nudge to align both slots and the fit is perfect. I have had my share of buying different cases out of vanity since the first iPhone. There might be cases that look more hip, or cases that offer better/bulkier protection. But if all factors were being considered, aesthetics, protection, quality, design, and fit, this is the best I had seen, by far. It is actually a very beautiful case for one that offers so much protection. Make one for iPhone 5 please. September 13, 2012
Survived the Circus The only way I was going to allow myself to purchase a delicate iPhone without a sure fire protection plan - the otter box commuter case is definitely that plan! after I receives the package from the FedEx delivery man I ripped open te box, started to put in the case....and dropped it. Thanks to otter box my phone was safe. A week after buying the phone a strayGerman Sheppard trampled my phone while it was sitting on a concrete driveway....not a scratch! The true test came 8 days after purchasing this expensive piece of technology - the circus. I dropped my phone from the top stand down a set of metal bleachers. After searching for an hr the phone was found in PRISTINE condition....amazing product!!! August 13, 2012
