Our engineers and industrial designers carefully considered every aspect of the iPad to create a simple, yet protective case. Inspired by the crumple zone of a car, the Reflex Series case for iPad 2, 3 and 4 features a unique dual material combination of polycarbonate and silicone. Cushions of air in the corners allow the case to flex and absorb any impact force. This case not only takes a hit, it recoils and springs back, ready to protect again. If you're looking for strong yet sleek protection, look no further than the Reflex Series case for the iPad 2, 3 and 4. If you're looking for even greater protection, check out our Defender Series iPad case.

poor compared to previous version i had the previous version on my Ipad 2, i am an engineer so my ipad regularly finds itself in a working environment, but not so rough that a defender is needed, the previous version had a nice brushed lining and a screen protector/case that was easy to handle ovrall quality and fit was great and it gave me confidence my ipad was totally protected when i was traveling , the previous case was sleek even with the lid attached and slipped easily into a bag. so the new version. well, the brushed lining has gone :( replaced by some rubber blocks and while the fit is secure there are small gaps in the middle where it doesnt quite line up properly. there are lots of small marks from the moiuding/forming process on the case but they dont seem to affect its operation, there is more space for the ports which is good, my real gripe is with the lid/screen protector. what on earth were otterbox thinking? i have strong hands and it is an absolute ar** to get the tab through the hole and even bigger one to try and undo it, everytime i do i expect it to break. the corners now protrude which makes it easier to put on and off and use as a stand, but now catch on everything when trying to slip it into my bag, fortunately i still have the previous version and the screen protector still fits ok. overall its not up to the quality expected for a cover at this price point from a reputable manufacturer. Pretty good I've had this case for several months and protects very well, the cover/stand works, but is a bit of a challenge to snap into a stand, beware the zinger color, as other reviews say, is not 2 shades of purple, it's purple and pink, that was a disappointment, other than that its a very nice, protective case. Not the quality expected from OtterBox I originally had the defender, but wanted something a little slimmer, so I got the Reflex. First problem I had was with the slot that holds the tab to make the stand. It was too tight and I could barely pop the tab in. Eventually the slot started getting small cracks and half of it broke off. At least then it was easier to pop the tab in and out. But, then, today the whole thing broke, so now I can't make a stand at all. March 24, 2013
REFLEX CASE-NOT AS ADVERTISED Firstly out of the box - COLOR WAS INCORRECT. The blue was more like a black. The box did not include the squeegee or the cloth that was displayed in the videos. The front protector/stand was not as advertised. Felt more like eraser rubber and was floppy. Not as advertised at all. Maybe a great idea but its cheap and false positive protection for a quality product like an iPad. ORDERING MY DEFENDER SERIES AS SOON AS I PRESS SEND. March 4, 2013
