We do not have plans to produce any cases for the Nokia Lumia 1520 at this time, but I will submit a product request on your behalf. Please keep in mind that we are always adding new cases, designs & colors, so that may change in the future. I would recommend signing up for our newsletter and keeping an eye on our Facebook page as those will provide you with the most up to date information on new case releases

After carefully taking the silicon layer off, you need to apply slight pressure with the corner of a credit card or similar to the opposite side of the clips are located on your case. There are about 9 or so to unclip. It's surprisingly easy once you do the first one. Don't use anything sharp or you may scratch/damage the plastic housing.

A:
To disassemble the case, you first need to take off the holster, if attached, then the slipcover. You can take apart the hard shell by detaching the tabs from around the edges of the case. Don't worry about breaking the case: it is very rugged. You may also always contact us for a warranty should you find yourself with a case that is, for whatever reason, defective or damaged.

Hi Batsi, yes the Icon and the Lumia 930 have the same physical dimensions. I purchased 2x Defenders (Icon) for my Lumia 930's. They fit perfectly!

Each OtterBox case is engineered specifically to fit the device it will protect. While the Nokia Lumia 930 and the Nokia Lumia Icon have similar overall measurements, we cannot guarantee that the Defender Series case for the Lumia Icon will fit your Lumia 930.

Hi, no the case will not fit the Lumia 635. The Icon Defender will fit the Lumia Icon (US version) or the Lumia 930 (International version).

Each OtterBox case is engineered specifically to fit the device it will protect. Due to differences in shape, size, and features the Defender Series case for Nokia Lumia Icon will not be compatible with the Nokia Lumia 635.

Yes the icon (930) case has a belt clip. The clip can rotate and lock in place to use the phone in landscape mode for reading the news etc.

A:
It's a separate part the phone snaps into and can be clipped on a belt although it makes the entire "package" quite bulky especially in the horizontal position (it IS adjustable). I clipped mine to the car visor and occasionally snap the phone into it keeping it out of sight and use the Bluetooth function. The clip part (or, more so, separate phone holder) has another use ... the actual spring clip can be locked open and used as a sort of a"kick stand" to sit the phone upright on, say, a table to view video or use as an alarm clock, etc., hand's free. A useful "part" of the purchase but if pocket carry is not your "thing", I think buying a holster type arrangement would be better, lighter, and more comfortable for this rather large phone.

A:
Yes it does.

The belt clip also acts like a tripod so you can use your phone to view movies without having to hold or prop up against something.

The phone will pop out of the belt clip with normal use so be careful especially when getting in and out of vehicles.

I normally don't use the belt clip because of the above reason and just put it in my shirt pocket instead; fortunately most of my shirts have large pockets to accomade this huge phone.

Product Reviews

Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 45 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Otterbox Defender Nokia Lumia Icon The build quality and design of the Defender is great. I feel confident my phone is safe when travelling but the screen protector lets this case down... There is an air gap between the glass from the phone and the screen protector which significantly reduces the sensitivity of the phone and sometimes takes multiple swipes or presses to read touch input properly. I know the glass is curved so it's hard to make flush contact but I would have personally preferred an adhesive screen protector like on the commuter series of products just so the phone is still most accurate with input when using it. Dust can get under the protector anyway so I'm thinking of taking it out somehow. Apart from this issue the case is fantastic and fits perfectly and solid when together. I purchased two cases and happy with them. Otterbox service is excellent. Less than 48 business hours and I had the cases delivered! That's quicker than most places in Australia! February 22, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by great protection but air gap between screen Screen protector has air gap in front of screen, making the screen less sensitive Case protection is great The rubber cover of the buttons is hard to press January 12, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Otterbox Defender Nokia Lumia 930/Icon The Nokia Lumia 930/Icon (US phone name) Is brilliant. The only down side is the fact that it is not water proof and dust proof. As I am in the environmental science field I do a lot of bush work and need a substantial phone case that will stand up to the beating that it will get. January 7, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great solid case but... My Otterbox Defender is a great case with solid feel thereby giving confidence in the protection. I still have not been able open the case with the phone in it, but will cross that bridge if/when I come to it. My only real issue/s with it are the instruction pamphlet that came with it was not re descriptive in how to open the case. I was lucky enough to find a good set of video instructions of how to crack the case (especially when the phone is in it) on the YouTube. These were the sort of instructions I would've expected from the Otterbox site. December 30, 2014
