Q. What has your immersion into OtterBox been like?
A. My very first day on the job, I flew to Las Vegas and worked the floor at the Consumer Electronics Show. Within my first two weeks, I visited four countries in Europe with the sales team. I had a real trial-by-fire initiation into OtterBox!
Q. Before coming to OtterBox what were you doing?
A. I was in the wireless business for about 10 years as a Nextel/Sprint dealer before coming to OtterBox. That experience has been very helpful to understanding our business model.
Q. And how are your first few weeks in Cork, Ireland going?
A. I am very excited to have the opportunity to live in Cork and help set up the first international OtterBox office. So far, the people are unbelievably friendly and the Irish "gift of gab" is no myth! Everyone loves to stop and talk to you for twenty minutes, from hotel repairmen to taxi drivers, everyone has something that they want to chat about. Hopefully soon they'll all be talking about OtterBox!
