One flaw I love the otterbox, however it can't be used in the portrait view on the stand, which for me is a major flaw as I use this with patients and some of the apps I need are in the portrait view. June 5, 2013
Purchased today. I have arthritis in my hands and I am unable to open the Samsung Galexy Tab 2 7.0. I plan on keeping it but I will have to take it back to the store to get it opened. It is heavy but I hope I can get used to the weight. March 11, 2013
Robust protection First off, I did list "Heavy" as both a Pro & a Con. Pro as I know it's still in my pack, Con as it always reminds me it's still in my pack. That aside, this is a seriously tough case. The hard shell is sufficiently thick to reduce any outside forces like twisting/bending which is good if it's in your pack and you take a hard fall. The rubber shell provides a great grip whether or not gloves are being worn. The cover shield snaps firmly in place and provides a great stand (in landscape mode, in portrait mode it is unable to support itself). the port covers can be tricky to open, but that may just be due to its being new and not really "broken in" yet. The bezel surrounding the screen makes for a great grip when using the tablet in general. The rubber makes using the power and volume buttons easier and more pronounced. The bare buttons are very shallow and easily bumped but not with the OtterBox covering them. A nice firm push is needed resulting in a "click" feeling that wasn't really there before, which is great IMO. The clear screen protector in no way hampers the device's response to touch. If anything, it almost feels like it makes is more responsive, but that might just be a placebo effect. Having owned your other various dry-cases in the past, OtterBox was my first choice for my new tablet's protection. Price is very reasonable for what you get. You invest enough in your electronics financially, it only makes sense to protect them. Now the only reason I have to replace my gadgets is being bored with them instead of them being broken. Great Protection, Bulky i have always trusted otterbox, with my iphones and now i have owned this since it came on the market, the case is great and is very well built, a it bulky but sure to keep ur galaxy tab2 safe from harm while travelling. great product Otterbox keep it up :) November 16, 2012
