The two piece polycarbonate inner layer snaps together around the device to form a secure foundation. The inner layer includes a built-in screen protector that prevents scratches while memory foam pads cradle the device to provide added shock absorption. The outer layer is made up of rugged silicone that wraps around the inner layer to absorb impact. The Defender Series Galaxy S3 case comes with a ratcheting belt holster that can also double as a viewing stand.

Good This case is very good. The only issue I have is that the screen protector doesn't set perfectly on the screen, and therefore, a lot of dust gets under it, and the only way to get it out would be to take the case off. Also, it would be nice if the home button could be covered like the iPhone cases May 19, 2013
Quality Case This is a quality case and it does protect your phone. My issue is the stretching of the silicone case and my holster clip broke on me. I have had these issues in less than two months. I here that customer service is great, so I will give my verdict on that after I call. Stay tuned. May 4, 2013

Whats better: Broken screen or scratched phone? The case is awesome, saves the phone from damage and i am hard on my phone! Dropped the phone from the top of a dumpster and no issues to the phone. I opened the phone to clean it when it was new and saw the case destroyed the sliver liner of the phone because of the little ribs in the molding of the case. super upset over it ,wish i had another choice to save the phone from a 15' drop.
