Great Protection, Not Screen Protector Friendly
This case offers great protection for the Lumia 920. It has saved my phone from several drops. The only two complaints I have are that the case is a bit slippery and could offer a better textured grip. Not really a deal breaker but it has caused me to drop it.
My main complaint is the design of the rubber, inner lining of the case. No matter what type of screen protector I buy, the rubber lining causes the edges of the protector to come up and lift off the screen of the phone. At first I thought it was just the screen protector but I have tried 4 different types of protector's and all have the same result.

Great Case!
I bought the Defender for my Lumia 920 but I did not need the protection for my lifestyle so I bought the Commuter. The Commuter offers almost the same protection but it is as thin as a Speck case. I would recommend this case for anyone who needs a case for their 920.

Commuter hands down for this phone.
This phone is already extremely durable in terms of being a smart phone thats not a tough phone. The defender offers more protection overall, but the commuter is perfect for this device, it fits extremely snug, it looks great, and definitely still will protect your phone just fine. If you need an extremely durable case such as working in manufacturing or something get the defender, if you are just on the go all the time and use your phone quite often this will do the job perfectly fine. for only having one color at the moment this looks awesome on the phone !

Good protection but slippery
I got the commuter case for my 920 because I didn't want the bulk of the defender case and I'm not terribly hard on electronics. I am happy with the level of protection this case offers. The corners are well padded and I can lay the phone down on it's face and the case keeps the glass from touching a tabletop or other smooth surface.
The grey of the silicone layer is a much lighter gray than the picture. I wish it was the same color as the picture.
My one BIG gripe about this case is that the outer plastic layer is very slippery. Several times it's almost slipped out of my hand. I can't set it on the dashboard of my vehicle and expect it to stay in place. That makes it difficult to use a GPS speedometer that projects onto the windshield.
I'm trying to figure out a way to add some thin adhesive rubber to the plastic layer to fix this.
