The Defender Series Nokia Lumia 900 case gives you three layers of indestructible protection that won’t slow you down. Belt clip on holster is weak! I have owned at least 4 Defender cases. They protect the phone very well, but the belt clip on the holster has broken on every one I've owned. I am 54 years old, and am not an adrenalin junkie. When I am working where the case could be damaged, like under a car, I take it off my belt. It is during everyday activities, like getting out of the car, that the holster hangs on something and breaks. I broke two getting out of my car. The ears on the clip are not a good design, and are the weakest part of the Defender system. Look into a better way Otterbox! April 20, 2013
Good case, but has design flaws. This case seems very sturdy so far. It adds a lot of weight to the phone, but its worth it for the protection. This case is not on par with its Iphone counterpart. The design leaves a gap between the rubber part of the case and the plastic part and it collects dust like no other. That flaw requires you to disassemble the case and clean it regularly. The biggest concern I have with this is product is the built in screen protector. Once you assemble the case you will notice right away the screen looks gritty and a little blurry. This takes away the smooth and bright looking screen the phone actually is equipped with and makes it look much worse. (I might have received a faulty screen protector. If so I would appreciate someone replying to this review) I cleaned the case and the screen on the phone and this did not help solve this problem. The only good thing I can say about this product is I think it will protect my phone if I drop it. The cons out weigh the pros, but I don't know of any decent cases for the Nokia Lumia 900. I give this product a 3/5 only because it seems very durable. October 30, 2012
Rugged case This is my third Defender case. The first two were flawless, the case and belt clip holder were tough to say the least; one of my iPhones survived a 45mph bounce, off the road, when it became detached from the holder on my motorcycle. My current case is for my Nokia N900. The case itself is great; however, the belt clip/holder has a major flaw. The belt clip and holder are connected with a plastic, two prong push pin which is very fragile. I found that any torqueing of the case, i.e., bending over will snap the push pin prongs. Otter box customer service was very helpful and shipped a replacement holder immediately. Hopefully the design will be changed in the near future. July 24, 2012
Best but major dealbreaker This is the best case on the planet with one dealbreaker. If you take a lot of flash pictures the yellow colored case has a small fin between the lense and the flash. The flash is so bright and the plastic so thin the flash shines THROUGH the plastic and casts a yellow tint on the lense and into every flash picture. Otterbox makes the best cases in the world but this is a design flaw. I'm stuck with this now because Amazon won't take it back without the box. A lil help here Otterbox? This is about the 6th case i've bought from you guys. July 15, 2012
