LG G2 Defender Series case
I am a fan of OtterBox and have used their products on every Android phone I've had, dating back to the Droid. I recently just upgraded to the LG G2 and actually bought my OtterBox before the phone to make sure that I had a nice reliable, sturdy, and stylish case to put my new phone in. Overall, I love this case. It actually feels streamlined and doesn't make the LG G2 seem bulky. The back buttons (which is a feature of the phone) are still easy to use even with the casing. And the screen is easy to see through the screen protector.
The only problem that I have with this case is the actual built in screen protector. While it does keep the front of the phone protected, there seems to be a gap between the screen protector and the screen of the phone. It's not a flush fit against the screen. Sadly, this makes it more difficult to type, enter the swiping unlock pattern, and even double tap to get the phone to either turn on or off at times.
The OtterBox is probably the most durable case on the market right now for the phone. I hope that they find a way though to make a better fit for the screen to be firmly against the protector. It would make using the phone a lot easier. Overall, it's almost perfect, just with that one "but."

LG G2 Defender Case
This case is an excellent upgrade to protect your expensive phone. I often put my phone in my pocket with my keys and other items. Other phones in the past have suffered from scrapes and scratches and, so far, this case has prevented that. Also, I like having a phone that is easier to hold than the standard case of the G2 as it is just a bit too thin and has a somewhat slick case. the Otterbox provides a good grip without too much bulk. Spend a few extra bucks and buy a good case like this.

So close....yet so far.
As far as protection goes, this case can't be beat in my opinion. The 3 piece protection system provides multiple levels of drop protection, and the feel of the case really reflects this.
HOWEVER, and I do mean a big however, as many others have pointed out, the screen protector attached to the case makes usability REALLY annoying. Due to the gap between the screen protector attached to the face plate, you'll find yourself tapping fairly hard in order for the phone to register your touch. Secondly, and this doesn't bother me personally, the button covers on the back of the phone are a bit thick as well. This makes pressing the buttons difficult too.
My advice: Buy this case with the intention of buying a stand-alone screen protector that can be attached directly to the phone, then remove the built-in screen protector. This way, you'll have unbeatable protection, and NOT have to sacrifice usability. Not the most cost effective method, but it works well.

Almost a home-run
The case in general is great. The fit is perfect with access to the buttons and ports. The belt end of the case is solid and leaves me without any worry of my phone falling off my belt. I am satisfied with the case with one major flaw, the built in screen protector. You know the saying, "measure twice and cut once"? Well, I picture the person who measured out the dimensions of the screen protector was a bit off. The protector does not fit flush to the screen, leaving a slight gap between the phone and protector. The frustrating thing is the dust that gathers between the device and the screen protector. Using the center of the screen is okay and my phone responds as it should. The real issue comes along the edges of the screen where it starts to "bubble" making it difficult to use the first 1/4 inch of the screen. Common' Otterbox! I have purchased 5 or six defender cases from you and they have all performed fantastic without a single issue. I will keep the case for my phone since it is the best out there as of now. I did try another brand with a removable screen protector. That screen protector was too thick making my screen almost impossible to use. If they would fix the front built in screen protector , this case would be perfect for my needs. I am hoping Otterbox will come out with a waterproof case for this phone. I wish I could give it 5 stars but had to deduct one for the screen. Also I have a T-Mobile phone and using the proper case for my carrier. I hear Verizon has changed the design of the phone slightly.
