I really like the case, it protects the phone very well. I wish they would come out with more cases though...like they have for the Iphones and Samsung galaxys, I would defiantly buy more of them if they did... March 22, 2013
Great Case. Minor Flaws. Overall, this is a great case. Very durable, nice and solid. One issue, that has already been mentioned, is that there is no hole for the notification light on the back. Very few cases have actually included a hole for that light, not sure why. I have read reviews about a problem using the screen after putting this case on. That has not a problem at all. The case does make the already huge phone feel a bit bulky, but thats fine. It is already a huge as it is, and now its safe from falls and stuff, so thats cool. January 18, 2013
The back LED indicator is covered by the case The case would deserve a 4 if the led indicator on the back of the case were not covered. The case would deserve a 5 if, in addition to fixing the aforementioned problem, the silicon outer layer did not stretch out and become loose fitting over time. The case will give you the extreme protection OtterBox has built its success upon. Overall this is one of the top 5 most rugged cases on the market. November 23, 2012

To disassemble the Defender Series case, first make sure to loosen the outer silicone layer all the way around the case. Once it is completely loose, you should be able to remove it from the hard case. Gently unhook the latches that keep the two halves of the hard plastic case clipped together. Once they are undone, the two halves of the case should come apart easily.
