Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 272 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by I've tested the warranty replacement process twice I like the case. I feel that my phone is well protected from physical damage. I was concerned about the transparent lens but that concern has been laid to rest it functions as if i was working directly on the glass face. Where I have had trouble is the holster. Twice in four months I have broke the top retainer / release clip. It would seem that a hinged spring loaded retainer may be a more reliable option. The warranty process takes about 10 days, that includes two applications due to me not following the directions to the "T" and only checking my email once daily. In all fairness is should be said I am very hard on equipment strapped to my belt, or placed in my hands. April 15, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by This was my first smart phone, (Note 3) and first otter box. initially the holster was so snug, that I needed both hands to get it to release. Eventually the clip broke. The replacement process was very smooth with very friendly and helpful customer service personnel. The replacement works great. April 15, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Get it I bought this case and so far it has performed above and beyond my expectations. It feels great in my hands and makes the note 3 feel like a durable piece of hardware rather than a fragile piece of glass. I've dropped my phone 3 times since getting the case in January, each time from the height that destroyed my previous phone and the worst that's ever happened was the stylus popped out a little. The case adds surprisingly less thickness to the phone than I thought and doesn't hamper the functionality of the phone at all. There are GPS mounts for the phone that will accommodate the larger case if you look and just overall I've had no problems with owning this case other than that I can be a bit careless with my phone now, but with the defender on it, it's protected anyway. Rated 1 out of 5 by SAMSUNG DEFENDER GALAXY NOTE 3 Black Not impressed with the quailty of this product. I have purchased 2 SAMSUNG DEFENDER GALAXY NOTE 3. 1 Black and 1 grey. I also purchased a belt clip only. All of the belt clips have broken in less than 2 weeks. When the clip breaks my Note 3 hits the ground. I am now on my fourth SAMSUNG DEFENDER GALAXY NOTE 3 Black. Not happy with this product. April 15, 2014

Yes, you can clip the otterbox with your phone on your belt and it has a good hard grip, so its hard to come off easily.

It comes with the toughest belt clips on the market. Because it is a clip, you do not have to fight you belt to get it off.

Yes, I wear a 3 inch leather duty gun belt for Law Enforcement purposes and it stays connected throughout my duty day. While off duty it fits fine on my 1 inch nylon belt without issue.

A:
Take rubber case off first. Then you need to find all the area that lock the hard front and back case together. There are about 6 of them. Those areas need to be pulled apart with your finger nails.

you have to wiggle the lock tabs open and work your way around the box. it locks real tight for protection reasons. use a small blade if you need to.

This is the easiest way for me to remove the case.
Peel off the Rubber outer shell.

1. Put your Right thumb in the opening for the power button. Keep it there until all 3 latches on the right side of the case are unlatched.
2. Start with the large tab on the right side and unlock it first. Using your Right Ring finger, unlatch it.
2. Now use the fingernail on your Right index finger to unlatch the small tab on the top-right of the case.
3. Now grip the phone with your right hand and use your Left index finger to unlatch the tab on the bottom-right of the case.
4. Lift the right side of the case away from the phone and unlatch the tab at the top of the phone.
5. Now unlatch the tab at the bottom of the case.
6. Finish by pulling the case to the left like you are opening a book.

I don't have a ruler on me, but... the charger that came with the phone fits. My regular USB charger fits. My charger with an LED light on the top from Verizon does not fit, because the little light hits the bottom of the case. Having this case was worth getting a new USB cord for my car charger, and most of us have about a hundred of those around from past phones anyway.

Galaxy Note 3 SC-01F

Q:
I'm currently living in Japan and using the Galaxy Note 3 with Docomo. Will this case work with the SC-01F version of the Note 3 ? The reason I ask is the added feature to use the small antenna thats built into the phone to watch digital TV while your out. This is located in the top right corner of the phone.

You would have to modify this case in order to keep that antenna attached. The phone fits perfectly inside with no extra room on that corner.
