Rated 4 out of 5 by Defender Lite! Don't get me wrong, this is the second Otterbox Defender I've purchased. For my old Samsung 4G Infuse and for my new Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3. This new Defender has the same great case and feel of indestructibility....but Otterbox messed with the outer case! They took away the belt clip! Admittedly with a belt clip the Mega would be huge! But without a beltclip the outer protective case just got thrown in a desk drawer - never to be seen again! So this Mega version of the Otterbox Defender should be named "Otterbox Defender Lite!" Rated 4 out of 5 by Big ol' phone, big ol' case The Galaxy Mega is a monster of a phone, and the Otterbox Defender is a good sized case. It is tight-fitting and solid, and doesn't seem to effect function. The only downside I can report: with such a monstrous screen, the Otterbox can't protect the Mega from frontal impact. Live and learn, I don't keep the phone where such impacts are an issue. April 17, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best phone protector & screen saver for my "Mega" I love this Otter Box !The case and built in screen saver works great for me!I don't always put the hard cover over the face of my phone when it's in my purse, [so the built in screen saver is scratched slightly] , but still works fine. I love the hard cover option converting to a holder~I can read my phone @ the table perfectly! My husband bought an Otter Box for his Galaxy S-4 Active and loves it as well . April 14, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by For the galaxy mega I only have one problem with my otter Box, There seems to be NO case or way to attach to belt. April 12, 2014

A:
NOPE!
And my critique downgrades Otterbox for removing the belt clip.
(I think what they should have done is allow for a removable belt clip or explain better why they don't include one.) My outer case has just been tossed into my desk drawer. Admittedly, the Galaxy Mega 6.3 with just the NORMAL Defender Otterbox is virtually indestructible in 90% of situations, AND slips into my pant and shirt (just!) pockets - but geez why do companies decide to "mess with success?"

A:
No it doesn't. I would have a problem with trying to clip it to my belt because of the size of the Mega.

A:
The is no belt holster for this phone. Just comes with a stand to use. Call customer service about and the rep explained to me that all holsters are designed with a safety release when so many pounds of pressure is applied to the holster. This was designed so that if it was caught on something dangerous it would snap and release the person, instead of pulling or dragging them and injuring them. Due to the weight of the Phone it wasn't a good decision for otterbox to offer one. Hope this helps you some.

No, the Defender Series case for the Samsung Galaxy Mega does not include a belt clip holster. Instead, it includes a shield stand.
