Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 83 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by could be a little tougher in less than a year, the clip broke and one corner that held it in broke due to a drop, but for the conditions I put it through, it held up pretty good. I have to commend otterbox, they sent me a new replacement one fairly quick, I would buy an other one in the future October 19, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Otter stands by its product I plan to keep my phone for a while, so I figured Otterbox was the way to go. I'll start with my summery statement: the otter box took a lot of grief, wore out within six months, but the company was ever so kind give me a warranty replacement! My primary issue was that the plastic shell became loose after about 2 months so that it wouldn't fit around the hard shell very well - especially around the back. I think that added to the wear/tear. I was going to get a warranty replacement almost immediately but kinda got used to it, but eventually it snagged enough that the plastic ripped at some of the thinner points. I finally sat down and sent in a warranty replacement request, and voila! the new box was at my door within the week. I'm still waiting to see if that problem with the plastic happens again. My wife has the same model and she hasn't had any problems, but I'm rougher on my phone. This time I'm being a little more self-conscious. October 19, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by ok purchase Except for the screen protector its a pretty durable case. A lot expensive too. October 18, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good But Case Has A Design Flaw I've had several Otterbox cases over the years. The Defender Series for the MotoX has been great. Nice fit and performs well. They did make one mistake. On the top of the case the tab where you would insert a headphone plug has a hole on the wrong side. To insert the headphone plug you have to open the tab up October 15, 2014

The OtterBox cases for the Motorola Moto X 1st Gen will not fit the Motorola Moto X 2nd Gen as the devices have different dimensions and form factors.

The case for the Moto X phone is just about the same size as the phone itself. I have one and does not add a bigger size phone. I would tell friends that have the Moto X to get the case.

The actual dimensions are 5 3/8" x 2 7/8" and is 5/8" deep. It adds about an 1/8" to the size of your phone all around.

The Moto X Defender case is not as bulky as most Defender cases are. The Moto X is slim and with the Defender on it fits well in the hand and in your pocket (unless you wear tight pants). The size is comparable to the iPhone 4s with a Mophie battery case but not even that heavy and bulky.

It's fairly big, and that's the one thing I'm not fond of. I like that my phone is smaller than most, but this case just bulks it up quite a bit.
