$49.95
SKU: 77-31453
Availability:

As the flagship device with a huge 3,500 mAh battery and Motorola’s signature Kevlar backing, the DROID Maxx may take the cake as the most desired device of the new DROID line-up. Do yourself a favor and keep this top-notch device intact with the Defender Series DROID Maxx case. Three layers of rugged protection come together in this DROID Maxx case, enhancing every innovative feature and complementing the design language of this device. From a drop onto the asphalt to a toss across your living room by a temper tantrum-throwing toddler, we’ve thought of all of those “worst-case scenarios” when designing this DROID Maxx case. The Defender Series for DROID Maxx was inspired by you so it can handle just about anything life may toss your way.

Compatibility:

  • DROID Maxx by Motorola

Features:

  • Port covers help prevent dust and dirt from getting into the ports and jacks
  • Case allows for full access to all device features and functions
  • Multi-layer case includes a polycarbonate shell, built-in screen protector, outer slip cover and holster
  • A holster is included that holds the device facing in or out, while also acting as a media-viewing kickstand

Material:

  • A two-piece polycarbonate inner shell provides cushioning for the device from the inside of the case
  • A built-in screen protector guards against scratches and smudges to the touch screen
  • Outer slip cover wraps around the inner shell to absorb impact and deflect scratches when the device slips out-of-hand

Environmental Protection:

The Defender Series DROID Maxx case provides added protection against bumps, drops, dust and shock but is NOT protective against water.

Rated 3 out of 5 by droid maxx otter box review Hard to unsnap case. One case is dissambled case has very poor fitment afterwards. Screen protector has poor clarity and has glare. Also does not lay flat and makes screen interface hard to manipulate especially at bottom with home keys; also hard to swipe or copy text at edge of screen.. Also when forcing case open screen protector is likely to bend / crease contributing to poor figment. Also screen protector at top is not cut properly. Cut outs are provisioned for speaker and for light sensor ;front facing camera is covered making pictures /video hazy. As for rubber case ; buttons are hard to press ; rubber closeout flaps get in the way and require quick hands or two hands to plug in charger or 3.5mm aux. Have found no design deficiency in hard case. January 21, 2015

Yes, just takes patience...it has a hard time locating and staying connected. I have begun taking off the outer rubber.

It works just fine. I have a harder time lining the marks up then I do with the case interfering.

Yes. I use the Ghost 100 Wireless Charger on my Droid Maxx every night. The only issue may be lining up the phone on the proper spot for charging, but this is a charger issue, not a case issue.
