As the flagship device with a huge 3,500 mAh battery and Motorola’s signature Kevlar backing, the DROID Maxx may take the cake as the most desired device of the new DROID line-up. Do yourself a favor and keep this top-notch device intact with the Defender Series DROID Maxx case. Three layers of rugged protection come together in this DROID Maxx case, enhancing every innovative feature and complementing the design language of this device. From a drop onto the asphalt to a toss across your living room by a temper tantrum-throwing toddler, we’ve thought of all of those “worst-case scenarios” when designing this DROID Maxx case. The Defender Series for DROID Maxx was inspired by you so it can handle just about anything life may toss your way.

Compatibility:

  • DROID Maxx by Motorola

Features:

  • Port covers help prevent dust and dirt from getting into the ports and jacks
  • Case allows for full access to all device features and functions
  • Multi-layer case includes a polycarbonate shell, built-in screen protector, outer slip cover and holster
  • A holster is included that holds the device facing in or out, while also acting as a media-viewing kickstand

  • A two-piece polycarbonate inner shell provides cushioning for the device from the inside of the case
  • A built-in screen protector guards against scratches and smudges to the touch screen
  • Outer slip cover wraps around the inner shell to absorb impact and deflect scratches when the device slips out-of-hand

Environmental Protection:

The Defender Series DROID Maxx case provides added protection against bumps, drops, dust and shock but is NOT protective against water.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Could be better Otter Box has good protection for phone but as rough as I am I broke the clip off that holds it on my belt. August 28, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Strong and Durable The defender is strong and durable and it protects my phone very well.. August 28, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by For the Motorola Razr I commute to Manhattan everyday by train. I have the ottorbox with the hip holster, which is the most convenient and useful for me. My phone has tumbled and bounced and flipped and was even accidentally drop kicked by myself under a moving bus as I was stepping off a curb. Fortunately the bus didn't crush it with the tires because even the ottorbox couldn't have protected my phone from that, but all the scuffs and nicks to the case aside, that phone just keeps working. I have absolutely no fear of dropping the phone. August 23, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by good and bad The case protects the phone very well--the belt clip plastic bracket explodes on impact..just got it replaced, while at work i brushed up against equipment, clip came off and phone hit floor...bracket swivel clip snapped off on impact...i guess they need to make a case that phone with protecter on fits into-and this needs to securely connect to belt or pocket...the plastic one otter supplies with phone protector is JUNK-maybe they need to make a protector for the belt clip? It works just fine. I have a harder time lining the marks up then I do with the case interfering.

A:
Yes. I use the Ghost 100 Wireless Charger on my Droid Maxx every night. The only issue may be lining up the phone on the proper spot for charging, but this is a charger issue, not a case issue.
