As the flagship device with a huge 3,500 mAh battery and Motorola’s signature Kevlar backing, the DROID Maxx may take the cake as the most desired device of the new DROID line-up. Do yourself a favor and keep this top-notch device intact with the Defender Series DROID Maxx case. Three layers of rugged protection come together in this DROID Maxx case, enhancing every innovative feature and complementing the design language of this device. From a drop onto the asphalt to a toss across your living room by a temper tantrum-throwing toddler, we’ve thought of all of those “worst-case scenarios” when designing this DROID Maxx case. The Defender Series for DROID Maxx was inspired by you so it can handle just about anything life may toss your way.

Rated 5 out of 5 by All Good I really like the way the phone feels. I get wet from time to time and dont have to worry about the phone. I spend a lot of time on roofs where the temp gets to 140 and no moisture issues. October 20, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Not sure if this is normal.... Not sure if this is normal....but I bought this case for my daughter and with in the first two weeks the rubberized back began to peel. I sent in the warranty claim and the Otters came through! But...with in a week the new one began to peel again. I know I can file another claim but I done want to go through this over and over again. Kind of feels like a waste of money. October 18, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by "Broken" Hearted This is the second case/holder I have had in as many months since purchased. The first holder snapped when I was getting out of my car when it barely caught on a seat. Something which other cases have fared and never even came off. Guess what happened to the second??? You got it, broke getting out of the car. It has an apparent flaw at the swivel that when pressured forward/outward instead of back against the phone, it snaps like a twig. I haven't submitted another claim on it because honestly not sure if I want the same one again. October 13, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Defender's Series On my second set of Otter Box Defender's Series phone protection cases. They work great for me. I love'em. I have only had one problem and it was taken care of by Otter Box immediately. I know of a couple of other cases where service was necessary. Otter Box came through each time. Good product and excellent service. October 12, 2014

Yes, just takes patience...it has a hard time locating and staying connected. I have begun taking off the outer rubber.

Yes. I use the Ghost 100 Wireless Charger on my Droid Maxx every night. The only issue may be lining up the phone on the proper spot for charging, but this is a charger issue, not a case issue.
