Plastic Clip Keeps Breaking This is the third Otterbox Defender for Motorola Droid X2 that I have purchased in the past year. I also purchased a commuter case and some other accessories. The case itself is great and protects my droid x2 while at work, but the CHEAPLY made tabs on the belt clip keep breaking off. I have taken the broken defective otterbox cases back to Verizon Wireless and they will not make good on the warranty. They tell me to try contacting the company directly. Needless to say, after all the trips to verizon, which is abiut 30this miles away, I am not a very happy customer! September 17, 2012
GREAT CASE TERRIBLE BELT CLIP I love the case but the clip is terrible. It broke after three weeks and could not get a replacement. As for the belt clip, this is my second one to break so I am going on my third one. Being made of plastic, it is prone to breakage. I am not a rugged person but two have broken. I now have two cases for one phone and no clips. I have had a problem getting a replacement clip. I wish Otter Box would make a clip that is as good as the case. August 25, 2012
Excellent cover Someone mentioned that the case for the Droid X2 will not fit on an extended battery. I have an extended battery and all you have to do is use a Dremel tool to take off a little on the underside of the cover. I will always buy these cases for my phone or anything they make cases for such as tablets. It is a little bulky, but there is a tradeoff for protection. August 19, 2012
Great Product I totally enjoyed this product and would ask anyone that has one of the Droid x2 phones to purchase it. I work on a Military Base and work as a Department Of the Army Security Guard, and one day after duty I was changing out out my vest. That is my Shot Gun Vest and Second Chance vest and accidently dropprd my Phone and what happened wouldn't you know someone ran over it. And the case protected it from any serious damage " How much more lucky could I have been !!! I wish that it were possible to get it replaced free of cost not because of this but a guaranteed durability. June 6, 2012

A lot of people switch between the two cases, so yes you can leave the screen protector on and it will work with the Defender Series case in place.

The dimensions of the Otterbox Defender Series case for Motorola Droid X 2 are 5.33" x 2.90" x .86", while the interior dimensions of the Otterbox 2000 Series case are 5.757" x 3.140" x 0.979" so these two cases are complementary! ;)
