Best case for a phone
Otterboxes are the best cases. They are worth the money.
My case for my Droid Razr M is starting to crack at the bottom, but I do drop it on Hardwood floors, tiles, and concrete maybe 1-3 times a week. The clip is very durable too.

Poorly Designed - No Much Good To Me
1) The cover for the phone itself works fine. It bulks up the phone considerably, a small price to pay to protect the phone.
2) The clear screen protector is just OK.
3) The belt clip is just not good or well designed.
a. The position of the clip is in the middle of the clip case. This leaves too much weight above the clip point…the phone is always leaning outward (in vertical position) and looks like a wing in horizontal position.
b. The clip position also means there is too much of the phone above the belt line – always getting hit by my arm. The clip should be high enough on the case so the top of the phone is even with the belt line and most of the phone is below the belt line.
c. Lastly, the clip is so big it hold the phone too far away from the body…once again causing it to be hit by my arm movements.
Overall this is a very poorly designed device and was not a good buy; and will now sit in my drawer gathering dust.

It's almost perfect
The Defender Series is amazing! I very much like this product, so don't get me wrong, but I am NOT a happy camper.
The Droid Razar HD by Motorola Defender Series case tells us "...A plastic screen protector is built in to the polycarbonate shell to protect from scratches and smudges while still maintaining the sensitivity of the touch screen..." so, The I.S.P. (Integrated Screen Protector) is something made for Motorola smart phones and other brands as well. My phone seems to be one of the only ones that does not have I.S.P. which is one of the four major descriptions for the Defender series.
I feel like now I should return this case and settle for my second choice, the commuter series. There is nothing wrong with the commuter series, its just not what I wanted for this phone, and it is not like I am going to return my phone just to get one that has a case with I.S.P.
All it needs is an Integrated Screen Protector, like I purchased for my kindle tablet.
From a company called Otter, I would expect that the top-of-the-line phone case would be closer to water resistant then this.

Razr M Defender Series Case So So
I purchased case for my daughters phone. I was happy to have a color selection of purple for her.
On the other hand I was extremely disappointed with the so called self adhering screen protector. The goofy protector lasted 2 seconds, so I purchased Zagg invisible shield immediately to protect the screen, which has worked out extremely well.
Overall I do like the durability of the case. Again I would recommend the case but you NEED to select a better screen protector.
For as much as they charged for this case I expect a high quality product, which failed with the screen protector.
OtterBox needs to work together with the phone manufactures to get a jump start on what products are going to hit the market ahead of time so you can put out a high quality product instead of rushing your product to the shelves in poor quality. I am hesitant in purchasing your
Razr Maxx HD defender case because of the extremely poor reviews. Does anyone out there have any other suggestions for durable high quality cases?

This does happen often to my dad, but he is rough on his phone. You might b able to get one off Amazon. Or you can call Otterbox and get a replacement, my dad has gotten a few because of the clip breaking.1 month, 1 week ago
