BlackBerry Z10 Defender Series Case
I had the opportunity to use this case for about 3 weeks and I have decided to take it off permanently. The cutout around the earphone (speaker) and camera is the only real complaint that I have. It lets way too much dust and grit in and then gets sandwiched between the screen protector and screen.
I felt a larger speck of dirt under the screen protector and pulled the the case apart (third time) to clean it and noticed a small pick mark on my screen. ugh.
I really like the silicone fit and (impact) protection and I don't see the potential for issues with the silicone like I have with my wife's iPhone Defender stretching and losing shape. The silicone feels and looks different.
I "didn't" feel like the case affected the gestures however, I had the case on the phone from day one and learned the gestures with it installed. I really notice how much smoother it is now with the case off and there is no need for multiple gesture attempts.
The built in screen protector being cutout for the cam and earphone is the main issue but is worsened by the fact the screen protector gets lifted off the screen slightly by the small "lip" on the screen bezel. This effectively creates a pocket to catch any dust or lint etc.
I have read a number of reviews(elsewhere) where people claimed to have removed the built in screen protector to bypass this issue. I don't feel that's an acceptable solution. I fully believe this needs to be redsigned.
I am truly dissapointed with this case.

Sturdy Case, Lousy Holder
I have had Otter Box cases on almost all of my past Cell Phones, and decided to purchase another one for my new Blackberry Z10. After all, this is an expensive phone and I want to ensure that it is well protected.
I find that the case itself is very rugged, just as all of the Otter Box line, and if dropped, it does make sure that the phone is not damaged, so far.
My disappointment comes when I use the included belt holder, which is supposed to hold onto the case with a bottom clip and 2 side tabs. The problem is in the tabs. Whenever I touch (not knock or catch) the phone in the holder, it tends to fall out of the holder. On several different cases I have found that my phone is not in the holder and luckily I've found it right away. I do a lot of photography in the bush and do not want to loose this phone because of a poor design, so I will be returning the case and looking for something that although not as rugged, will at least make sure that I don't loose my phone.

Just like the phone, this case seems like it was rushed out the door. The first thing I noticed was the central pivot of the belt clip. This leaves the phone in a very awkward position. There is no way to position the phone comfortably, except maybe behind you. Next, the magnet is supposed to put the phone to sleep. It does not. The magnet works perfectly, until you install the phone into the protective case. The extra 1/4" puts the magnet out of range. This may have been overlooked because of the way the clip covers the screen completely. Back to positioning, it sure is a good thing that the case is so resilient, because since I started using the belt clip, I have dropped my phone repeatedly. A hug, a seat belt, a strong breeze... it doesn't take much to sent the phone hurling to the ground like a rubber brick. Finally, the gaping orifice in the top center of the screen protector allows lint and worse to get behind the clear cover. I see that someone got lucky and has a phone that senses the touch away from the very edge of the screen. I was not so lucky. Many times I find myself swiping continuously in an attempt to close an app or just turn off the bedside mode. I expected a lot more from Otterbox.

Z10 Defender Case Great, Holster needs fixing.
As mention by other reviews, the case is great, but the holster needs a redesign. Just a bump causes phone to fall out. 9900 case and curve cases had more of an enclosure to hold phone. On second holster as first one snapped getting out of car. Phone is in mint shape from multiple falls, love the case.
