Needs a WHOLE LOT of work I have had this phone for less than 2 years and I am now looking for my 6th case. My local company store used to honor the warranty and simply exchange it for me when the little holding clips would break off every couple months. But they no longer carry this model so here I am paying for something that breaks over and over. February 15, 2013

Terrible The small plastic clips on each side of the case that snap into the holster break too easily. After my purchase, it lasted two months before the clip on the case broke. I exchanged it for a new one and almost exactly two months later, the clip broke again. Great idea but absolutely worthless. February 8, 2013

poor quality the actual phone case doe a good job of protecting the phone, however, the holster leaves a lot to be desired. the clip breaks too easily. the design in which it holds the phone does not do a good job. i have had the phone fall out many times. a few times i did not catch it for a few minutes and have had to return to look for it. Not the best design I have had Otter box for 2 other Blackberry phones and for an iPad. I refuse to have anything like that without an Otter to protect it! That being said, this particular case, the Defender, is not designed very well. It is mostly the clip that I have a problem with; it is too easily broken! by doing nothing more than clipping it on my belt, it has split in 2 different places! That makes it useless. I still have another year on my phone, so getting another is really not an option. Purchasing another case shouldn't be an option! November 29, 2012
