Hardcore protection. I've had one of these cases for over six months, and I can testify to their durability. I've had one dropped and land screen-side-down on a concrete floor, and it didn't even faze it. The only complaint I have with it is that the silicone flaps that cover the ports will detach from the case with a lot of use. February 21, 2013

excellent!! This is my third otterbox purchase (ipod, ipadmini) and this kindle case is exactly what I come to expect from a well made durable protective case. It gives me peace of mind that my 8 yr with autism will not accidentally damage his kindle. This case fits the standard 7" kindle fire (NOT HD) and the built in screen protector is very hard wearing. Great protection but... This product is great! It is on my 4yr olds kindle fire he got on Christmas morning. Only problem is he has managed to put a big scratch on the middle of the screen protector today and it is very noticeable! I have no idea what was used on it. For the price I would think it would be a little more resistant to scratches. The protection is great but the screen cover is not:( A little disappointed. January 1, 2013

Once again, Very pleased Purchased this case through Amazon for my wires Kindle Fire. So far it's been used by my 3yo son, which he has managed to "throw" it from the WalMart buggy, and drop it numerous times here at home on hard wood flooring. The only issue I've seen is the flap for the charger. Since the Kindle's battery life is not as good as their older models, it requires more frequent charges. With this in mind, the flap is beginning to tear at the corners. Other than that, Awesome protection! September 26, 2012
